September 9, 201015 yr I think that right now Im spending far too much with True for my mobile phone plus wifi, this is my breakdown: 600 baht per month top up credit - this is minimum required for using EDGE on my BB, this 600 baht does not include any call time or sms. On top of this 600 baht I have to purchase top up cards for call time, I estimate that I spend around 400 a month on this. For some reason I also seem to get my credit deducted at random, I will have say 12 baht left and then I will get a message from True saying they have just deducted 12 baht so I now have 0 credit, or even sometimes I will have zero credit and they will send a text saying they have deducted 6 baht or something, very strange and annoying when it leaves you with no credit to call anyone!! I spend 500 baht a month on a True 30 days Wifi card, this is only for when I take my laptop down to starbucks or somewhere similar to do some work online. So that's a total of 1,500 baht a month, is there some kind of all in one package for this at a cheaper price? Can I also get it on monthly billing? Right now I have to top up my BB by a min. of 600 baht per month which is annoying when you forget!
September 9, 201015 yr Author D Tac does monthly billing, i recomend them.. I'd like to stick with True for now though so I can keep the same number
September 9, 201015 yr Are you able to review the various TRUEmove packages, either on-line or in one of their many customer service shops? http://www.truemove.com/en/banner-wifi-edge-gprs-pre.html AIS/One-2-Call have some sort of reasonable Blackberry service http://www.ais.co.th/blackberry/tariff/ DTAC does allow you to get a post-paid account w/o a work permit but you do need to provide a credit card and pre-pay 3 months upfront. Also, I do believe that local number portability, meaning you can take your number to another provider, was required as of 1 September 2010, but I'm not sure how it works.
