Family Beaches @ Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm thinking of a weekend away in Pattaya, with my parents and our 3yr old daughter. (I'm an expat living in BKK).

I don't know the place especially well other than to say the main beach isn't eactly nice, and we were in Jomtien last weekend and the beach was quite dirty with alot of debris and rubbish in the water.

So, where is a nice spot to going. I'm obvisouly not looking for the sex-pat thing - more like a nice clean beach, nice relaxing hotel, within a few km of shops and resaraunts etc. Looking on Sawadee.com Naklua beach looks ok. I've also seen reference to Wong Prachan beach which is supposed to be nice.

Any recommendations and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

CM

Suggest you try the Pinnacle Hotel just south of Jomtien beach.

Very nice beach and family friendly. Great food.

Why go to Bang Saen instead...about 30 mins up the road from Pattaya. There is a large beach-side resort there and a long casurina tree lined sandy beach. Very popular with Thais (and few if any. sexpats or sex-tourists there...though I did take a bargirl there once for a beach outing ) so your daughter and parents should be safe.

I'd go along with the suggestion of the Pinnacle. Good location on a beach, good service and nice food.

Asia Pattaya Hotel Pratumnak Soi 4.
