Oman Air

Steve W, I fly fairly often with OA . They are sure as hel_l not Singapore Airlines but the BKK-LHR route was quite comfy with their brand new A330-300 planes. The seats had personal screens and the service and food was quite good. You can also drink as many beers as you can handle. If you have 6 hours of transit time at Muscat like I did, you can pay 30 dollars and relax at the Plaza Launge (one escalator down from the information desk at the transit area). There is a time limit but nobody asked me to pay extra when I stayed over my 3 hour time limit. The price includes a bed, private shower/toilet (towels provided at the front desk), light meals and drinks. I find their E-ticket prices quite reasonable at 25000 to 30000 Baht range for high season.
