my retirement visa has to be renewed on nov 1st, and my 90-day notification tm47 form has to be filed on oct 30.

if i get will the tm7 retirement visa renewal early (say oct 25th), will it also be good for the 90-day notification of longer stay? or do i have to ALSO have to submit a tm47 too? btw, i am in chiang mai.

You must make a 90 day report in addition to the renewal. Do it after you have successfully filed your TM7.

Immigration do not see the TM7 application to renew an Extension of Permission to Stay (on what ever grounds) as an address report.

Actually they do see the first extension of stay using the TM.7 as a 90 day report but after that you must use the TM.47 form. In this case he must provide both forms but the order does not matter. Only for the re-entry permit is doing the TM.7 first vital.

How do they figure it all. My 90 day isn't due for about 60 from my Extension of Stay and Multiple reentry permit. My last 90 reports get the bottom paqrt iof the form into your passport. Do I read this and reponses to other as they will see the first TM7 as my date. Remeber I've had a previous re-entry permit pursuant to the expiry of my OA-Retirment.

Anyway, not to ruffel the feather of anybody, HOWEVER, I'll stop off the Immi Hut in Patong and have a double check... Then drive out to Saphan Hin and see whatg they say. I've emailed the office but no response... Is the a quote on the site.. BTW, most form downloads are <deleted> but the pages from the HKT immi site are up to date and clear!

But everythning is Phuket is better cause it's Pang Mahk

If you were here on a one year permitted to stay from an O-A visa entry (pre approved extension of stay) and thus doing 90 day report just continue using the date indicated on your receipt. Your original entry on such a visa equates to a first TM.7 extension of stay for retirement.

When you are here on a 90 day entry and extend that the first TM.7 is the first 90 day report and you would start counting from there.

Remember that any exit of country will result in a new count starting at day 1 on return.
