gazz
Pal has loaded Ubuntu onto new desktop and wants to connect with his CAT ccu 680. Is there a driver available or a workaround or will it be better to buy Linux supported device? Edited September 16, 2010 by gazz
dave_boo
Considering it's just a rebadged Franklin CDU-680, the answer is yes.
RKASA
What did they say about it in the forum at ubuntu. Someone is likely using it. "Following the ENTIRE procedure to make the CCU680 connection complitly" didn't read it all http://answer4it.net/2008/09/28/ccu680-linux-driver/
gazz
We will give it a try with the links supplied, thanks. Yesterday we hooked up my Novatel 760 and with the d/l linux driver from Novatel were able to get his machine up and running on the net. So if we get no joy with his 680, he'll just have to buy the Novatel device. cheers,
