Can anyone recommend a good carpenter, electrician or general builder in Pattaya? or a qualified surveyor who can manage refurbishing a house?

I have seen other posts on this subject but all they do is complain about how bad Thai builders are which does not help. Nevertheless there must be companies that provide a quality service as there are some magnificent buildings, hotels and houses in Thailand. What I would like is names of anyone who is good and reliable

I have 3 primary guys I worked with on my refurb. An interior/woodwork guy. A general builder/electrician/plumber. And a landscaper. The interior/woodwork guy is fantastic and has done work for a few other TV members. The landscaper is great also. The general builder/electrician/plumber is pretty good. His electrician is fantastic. The rest of his work is about a 7 out of 10. Not bad for here in Thailand. The landscaper will do just about anything, but uses partners to do the work. His first big job is just finishing at a friends house. So far, he has done a pretty decent job. And he speaks English! The other 2 do not....at least not very much.

If you PM me I will give you the number of a Thai general contractor that has renovated over 25 condos for me, and 100's of others for foreigners. So, he fully understands the standards he needs to meet and employees the highest quality tradesmen in each field.

I do not use him for my kitchens or other types of wood work. I use other specialist. I can also give you those numbers. These are all Thai's that specialize in their craft and speak English.

I also have without question the best AC man in Pattaya, he is also Thai and speaks excellent English.
