September 21, 201015 yr Has anybody been able to find a gel seat for the ER6 here in Thailand or abroad? Pleased to hear. Tnks
September 21, 201015 yr Frank. I think if you get the foam flattened in the part you sit on it will help loads. I think thats what Tony did. And i know its a popular mod on the Ninja250 as well. pretty much any saddle shop can do it. Allan
September 21, 201015 yr Gel seats don't tend to last very long here due to the heat and humidity. If the seat isn't padded enough then getting it redone is very cheap. Save your money
September 21, 201015 yr its actually the shape of the seat that makes it uncomfortable. shave it flat.... http://ninjasportbik...ification-movie Edited September 21, 201015 yr by thaicbr
September 21, 201015 yr ^ yes, what Allan said - reshape the seat and I think you'll find it a lot more comfortable. Here's how I did mine- quick and cheap and has made a world of difference: Ride On! Tony

September 22, 201015 yr That looks interesting indeed Tony, what's the name of the shop and where is it? Tnks Frank Cheers Frank, There are seat shops all over the place that can do this for you. The one I used is called Toon Sutthisan and is a longish walk or a very short taxi ride from Kawasaki Rama 9. I got the seat done while the bike was in for service. Just walk or drive west on Rama 9 towards the Asoke / Ratchadapisek intersection and the shop is about 100 meters past the intersection on the left side. Cost for the custom seat and new covering was 300 or 400 Baht (can't quite recall). Anyway- dirt cheap and they guy told me to come back if I ever had any problems. That was about a year ago and the seat has held up very well. Hope this helps! Happy Trails, Tony
