Farang Jumper In Chiang Mai

A Farang attempts suicide yesterday in Chiang Mai, causes traffic chaos, the story is shown on all the Thai news channels, but the mods have blocked a discussion on this topic until it's reported in the press.

Where is the logic there? Is live TV coverage not substantial enough, does the story need to be printed in the Nation before it is considered credible

Reports are that a 26 year old Australian jumped from a billboard near the Chiang Mai Ram hospital and died from his injuries, so says the Chiang Mai Mail on Facebook.
