visions 7
In a word, it's a monster. A brute with the force of six Frankensteins and the brains of half a dozen Einsteins. A 194 hp water-cooled UQM brushless DC beast able to twist out 295 pound feet of torque while calculating exactly how much energy to expend according to a bajillion variables that include the traction available, longitudinal acceleration and the distance to the finish line. Garry 559
Considering that the front (single fork by the looks of it) suspension is blanked out, it will interesting to see if it is inovative or just another attempt at a bunch of different ideas that have been tried over the years. I'm in no way knocking the guy, I hope to see some new idea, front end wise.

Changian 26
I could see myself popping down to the 7-eleven in this. No need to carry the umbrella in one hand and steer with the other in the future.
visions 7
few more pics. The bike shown is an early prototype. Have much advancement on later model but I dont have a good pic sorry. Has very good quality running gear. Supposedly does 150mile range at full power. Enough to get to 7/11 or the nearest pub to show off ok. Above: Several members of the SWIGZ.Com Pro Racing Electrical Superbike Team (from left), Crew Chief Jimmy Summers, Chip Yates, Engineer Ben Ingram, Engineer Matt Schweitzer. Note this is the first prototype and the superbike is much advanced since this photos was taken! Abpve: Closeup of $2,300 Brembo monoblock GP 4-pad caliper provided by Yoyodyne, www.yoyodyneti.com Above: Closeup of brand new Ohlins TTX rear shock provided by Ohlins USA. Ohlins USA also provided forks, steering damper and springs!
apetley 4071
They could have at least taken the slack out of the chain before taking the promo pics. All the same, I like it. What chance of getting a green book? Edited September 24, 2010 by apetley

What chance of getting a green book? Well for sure it would have to pass the emission tests!!
Fishenough 84
A 194 hp water-cooled UQM brushless DC beast able to twist out 295 pound feet of torque Here is another electric motors torque curve: Horsepower will come up with the revs, but wow that kinda torque on a race SS at 0 rpm; serious traction control would be needed. Freaky fun! A couple of forklift motors in a little Suzuki 4x4 burns rubber.
BSJ 4796
Woopy Doo! It's an electric bike. Batteries, been around 100 years....ditto for the electric motor! The only modern bit is the CPU that controls the thing. In the end the ultimate decider of whether it succeeds or fails is when someone is looking at it in the showroom and says to the salesman.....I'll have that.....or not! CMX 135
Depending on how far we are looking into the future, we will have little choice. It is not just a matter of being some kind of environmentalist, electrically delivered power will replace fossil fuels. And sports riding can live, using less energy than autos. Noisy muffler types will have died off from disgust, since we'll all hum.
