howardprice Posted September 29, 2010 Share Posted September 29, 2010 I have a laptop and over the last 18 months it has a problem where I turn it on and it will go to a certain point and then turn off and restart up again. It can go for weeks with no interference. If this happens 3 times I then turn everything off and take out the battery, put it back, and it starts up, no problem. I have had someone fix-it but, still same thing. Has anyone had the same experience or, can tell me what needs to be replaced to rectify the on - off problem.
