String Book Binding

I recently purchased a new book from England and brought it back with me. Not a really expensive book as it seems to have been made cheaply, however a book I really need to read and also keep for future reference. It has been obviously cheaply made, so after a few searches as to what can be done I found out that you can "string bind" the spine, (or where the pages all meet if that is called something different.)

I have found a few things on the web, "you tube" etc where they try to explain how to do it.

My question is, does anyone know of a place in Chiang Mai that would be able to do this for me? (for a price I mean of course.)

Cheers.

try some of the photocopy shop near UNi and large school , some offer binding service .

may not be the same like old book repairing typf of binding or all bible style punch hole and string type . but there might be able to glue it well back for you .

if i do come across i will take some photo of the location for you . since i am alway out with my camera :)

wish me luck
