Ha, thaicbr loves to help people out on this forum...as long as he can complain about it afterwards.

At least I try and help people out. That's more than you do rustic. You generally just bitch and do snide one liners.

As for complain. No not really but i would like posters to use the thing between their ears . sometimeswhistling.gif

Garry the 1st bit of the reply was for you the 2nd bit was for the OP smedly.

Oops, hit a nerve eh? Actually there's just few gits I bitch about though to be honest I'm too busy actually riding than talking about riding.

And talking about 'using things', shouldn't you be using your bike for a change. Or is it still in the workshop?

Yep unfortunately when you have an older individual classic bike here in Thailand it does sometimes spend a bit of time in the workshop. But she's coming along nicely and will be ready for the riding season and onwards. Here's 3 ways at looking at biking in Thailand.

1)Find a nice older classic style bike and get it running . build it up slowly doing a lot of the work yourself and spend not a lot of money (complete with the satisfaction and headaches involved)... my way

2) Buy a Kawasaki and have fun in the sun at a reasonable price.. other peoples way (and mine next year)

3) Spend shit loads on an over priced bike then spend shit loads on over priced accessories. .. your way.

Each to their own it all works and every one is happy. I'm happy, your happy and every one else is happy. :wai:

Knew it was only a matter of time before bigegobkk chimed in but cheers anyway. Even though you are taking the piss All we need now is Scuba with his usual "Yes Tony, well said Tony. I agree Tony".

Anyway, 26,000 klms in under 2 years. Currently in koh samui on the way back from Sepang motogp. You should try it sometime Allan. So what's it gonna be? Er6n? Or Er6f? ;-)

Well Rustic. As you asked it's probably going to be a ER6n. Low cost, easy to maintain and adequate performance. It's a no brainer for me.

I may even keep the Suzuki and just get a Ninja250 or the new Honda Cbr250 Depending on what engine is in it. Best of both worlds then a smaller, lighter and very economical bike for commuting to work and stuff and the Vx for longer touring.

Hope you enjoy ya trip :D

Had a mate recently rent both a ninja 250 and a er6f out of Pattaya. He said the 250 was pretty awful but the er6f was okay if it could be fitted with sport bars and an aftermarket pipe.

As the 'little man' said a while back, "It's the best bang for your buck".

I hear good things about tyrethailand, they have a good selection from several brands and are very competitively priced.... http://tyrethailand....x?cat=03B&src=0

Richard, why is that some of these sites never show their prices. What is it, a state secret!?

Maybe it's just me or I was lucky but most tires on the site have prices?? http://tyrethailand.com/Product/Product.aspx?prod=030006 Just need to click on the tire you're interested in...

Lucky I guess, as I was going to mention before that the website isn't updated on all the tyres they advertise (information when you go to a specific tyre page) Case in point http://tyrethailand....spx?prod=030027. Is that 11,000 baht for the pair or just one Richard?

For details it's best you call them, they can tell directly if they have stock and if they have time to put them on for you and balance the wheels...
