Without spending hours searching, which airlines offer the best value return to London or Birmingham? Is EvaAir still doing good deals? Any decent travel agencies with online booking facilities here?

Can highly recommend Etihad Airlines for a good deal with pretty good service. You stop off in Abu Dhabi for 3 hours on the way over and an hour plus on the way back, but it's no real hassle. The only other thing is they fly into Gatwick, which may be handy for some living south of London, but not so good for the rest. Food wasn't bad and the booze was quite free flowing for a Middle Eastern airline.

If you want a reliable travel agent, try Prime Vacation, with ads in the Bangkok Post.

Emirates to Birmingham. Looks cheap on www.saveflights.com and regularly wins prizes for service.

I think Kuwait is the cheapest...I flew with them and relatively to the price is not that bad.
