Where Is Some Good Kindergarden Or Preschool In Pattaya?

I saw that the other threads was a couple of years old so I think I will put up a new one and ask.

I am looking for a place with some good recommendations with english speaking Thai staff and which also has some english nationals as teachers.

I am relocating to Pattaya this month so where a good preschool/ kindergarden is might be an important factor in what area we choose to stay. Right now my son is in a good kindergarden where about 30-40% of the teachers are coming from Uk, Aus or US. I am paying approx 11.000 B per month without transportation for him there which I am happy to pay.

5000 B baht places with 10 kids per teacher and I am not interested in.

Satit Udomseuksa Academy is a bilingual school.

It seems (no 1st hand experience) that their nursery/KG is pretty good. but P1 and up is rather doubtful.

Satit is located along Sukhumvit, from Tesco direction Sattahip

after approx. 2 km, turn left, cross the rail road and turn right

follow the signs Satit Udomseuksa Academy.

Nice buildings and utilities.

I think that the school fee is approx. THB 60,000 per semester.......

I'm pretty sure that there are more options, but this is just one of them.

Phoenix and Best are for sure no international schools.

Personally I'd recommend Montessori, my kid loved it there but that was in the old location with the gardens and the beach. I don't know what the new location is like.

Second Phoenix from friends recommendations.

They're both cheaper than the other internationals and closer to Pattaya, although that may not now be true of the new Montessori.

I also liked the look of Satit on a visit but a bi-lingual was not an option for me.

Edit: My first ever post was on the school options around Pattaya as someone had posted the same question as you and I'd just done the rounds of the schools to check them out.

Probably gonna check out Phoenix as it looked quite good.

About Montessori schools and I really dont like that way of teaching. The whole socialising process is just too much controlled. Playtime, running around like happy young kids is also very limited. I dont think it should be that way when the kids are that young. Montessori has a lot of critizism around the world as well.

Phoenix is also not an international but a bilingual scholl with Thai curriculum.
