Thanks! :wai:

Some good stuff, keep it coming.

Many thanks for your feedback JImSiam - there is plenty more fuel in the tank, so to speak.

With the large internet readership by download on Thai Visa and the tens of thousands of hits on Howard's site we are delighted with the overhwelmingly positive response so far.

Best wishes.

Aside from people emailing and talking to us, and also PMs on Thai Visa, how about 2,480 individual downloads on Thai Visa on day 1 (as we type), compared to maybe twenty negative responses on the forum.

We'll take that feedback and those stats any day!

Thanks all.

I'd personally vote for 'Go out of way not to read it'. But it isn't in the poll.

Twenty one :)

I quite enjoy reading it

Thanks for the positive feedback Coutsa.

You aren't the only one!

Best wishes.

In other words, almost 2,500 downloads via Thaivisa yet only one member will publicly post a positive comment on the 'newspaper' on Thaivisa.

An optimist might say 'Things can only get better'

Onlooker, with respect, that is a particularly poor argument.

2,500 members have downloaded our rag (hang on - update - 3,409 members), we have maybe 15 negative, vociferous posters, leaving 3,394 people who have read it online and either love it, like it or don't like it but not sufficiently to bother wasting their lives moaning about it.

As we said before, we'll happily take those stats, and the feedback from all quarters has been overwhelmingly positive.

At least those who don't like it know they can just ignore it in future. It is very easy to avoid, although we are happy to have constructive negative feedback.

Thanks to all who have read it, and liked it or not.

Best wishes.

PS Barry who?

I voted that i didnt read it, but it didnt accept my vote. Sounds like some eastern countries, way back when!:annoyed:

Oops, you post still stands after 12 minutes, must be a record.

We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

We hide behind user names and dont say who we really are and exactly what our real connections are with Pattaya One and their advertisers are.

Well said Bar Bazmlb :whistling:

Your poll doesn't work.

How can I vote for favourite page when I have never read it as the answer to the previous question?

I took the time to download it but wont be bothering again. Also you poll is biased as there is not a "non of the above" or "didnt like any of them" choice.

Sheesh !!...what a lot of 'party poopers' there are .

If you haven't got anything nice to say about someone or something.

don't say anything !!

Personally, I enjoyed Pattaya One's initial efforts.

Give them a chance 'fercryinoutloud' !! :realangry: :realangry: :realangry:

I like some of the columns. However, I am amazed that there hasn't been outrage over John Thomas' column. Some of the more prolific posters on this forum are being quoted in this week's column. Are these posters aware of that? Does ThaiVisa give a disclosure to all members that material posted by its users may be published in a newspaper? Does PattayaOne contact these posters to advise them that their writing is being published? I think PattayaOne and ThaiVisa have entered some murky legal waters. Somebody want to throw them a life preserver?

:hit-the-fan:

In the previous issues, PattayaOne took material from some of the other Pattaya forums and posted it as if it were a reliable source. I see a disturbing trend developing.

Well done Pattaya One for adding an entertaining new addition to Thai Visa, by giving some moaners a new platform for manufactured outrage and allowing other bored ones to repeat their boring posts for each new edition.

Some of the posts are almost more entertaining than the paper itself.

Maybe you should get John Thomas to cover the Pattaya One posters in the next Above Bawd column.:D

I tried to vote, but as I don't read it it wont let me..............go figure !!

I though it was great - more of the same; but Chiang Mai, please!

I personally like it. I download it (as I am in the US) and print it at work. After reading it I leave it in the breakroom for others to look at.
