News_Editor Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 Indonesian President Yudhoyono urges political parties to work together 2010-10-18 03:16:22 GMT+7 (ICT) JAKARTA (BNO NEWS) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Sunday urged political parties in his country to work together and avoid sacrificing national unity, according to media reports. Yudhoyono said it is normal for people to have a different political stance but said this should be in the best interest for Indonesia. "For the people, we must live in unity," he said during the ninth anniversary of the Democratic Party, which he leads. Yudhoyono called on his party member to work hard during the next three years before Indonesians will head to the poll to elect a new President. Yudhoyono is constitutionally barred from seeking a third term.
