Money Transfer

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am looking to transfer money to the UK.

Has anyone used an internet company called Xe.com to transfer money? Or does anyone have any experiences with other internet transfer companies?

Cheers

Tony

I have used HiFX in the UK to transfer Baht to Thailand having paid them in $GBP from my UK account and all went very smoothly although took some time to set up the account.

I presume it would work in reverse for you as long as you can send the Baht out okay (I am presuming Baht?)

I use XE's site as a reference a lot and have read of some people who used them for transfers. I decided to go with HiFX as they were UK regulated and XE I believe is a Canadian company - which meant no redress if things were to go pear shaped. To be fair that does not seem likely but also HiFX gave a better rate when I was checking.

Here's a new one I just read about in the New York Times.  I haven't used them and I don't know if they cover Thailand.
