E-commerce Web Developer/designer

Our client in Koh Samui is looking to recruit a Web Designer to join a small team aiding the company in the day to day maintenance of the company's E-commerce based Website and working within the team of 2 other people as the following position:

E-Commerce Web Developer/Designer

Key Tasks: An example of a general workday would involve the production of animated banner ads, stationary graphic adverts, code improvements and amendments across the Website. Additional tasks would involve development work on various internal and external projects. The successful applicant would also help in the development of new and upcoming projects.

Preferred Qualifications:-The ideal candidate would have experience coding in HTML, CSS and have design experience using Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash. Knowledge in DHTML, JavaScript and PHP is a must for this role.

The candidate would need to be able to work within a team environment and have good inter-personal skills, carrying themselves in a professional manner within the work place. Often tight deadlines need to be met and hence the candidate would need to have good time management skills and flexibility in hours worked to achieve those deadlines.

You will have at least 3 years commercial experience of PHP/MYSQL based E-commerce sites, creating complex sites from scratch, content management systems, E-commerce development and implementation, hand-coding PHP/HTML/CSS to W3C & WAI standards

You should have a strong portfolio of well designed Websites and at least 3 years + commercial experience.

Willing to work in Koh Samui. Work permit will be provided.

You must have example ENGLISH URL's of sites developed in OsCommerce, and additionally any search engine optimization experience would be a real bonus.

Offered Salary : Baht 40,000 NET per month
