Romanian man wanted on charges of fraud, arrested by Immigration Police.

Police Colonel Itipon, the Chief of Pattaya’s Immigration Department called this late night press conference to announce the arrest of a Romanian man who, according to the arrest warrant, was accused of stealing money through an internet scam run from his home in Pattaya. A total of 800,000 Baht was stolen from customers. Although full details of the scam were not released, Mr. Marius Argatu aged 35, admitted to the offence. We understand from Immigration that he was deported back to Romania the next morning.
