I have just been to the Prachuap Khiri Khan immigration at Dan Singkhon to get a letter for renewal of my driving licence. No problem there, fast friendly service as always. However as I was leaving I asked one of the officers I know for a TM 47 since my next 90 report is in December.

The officer handed me the form but then added that I need to check if the office is still open then since they have been told that they are relocating to Hua Hin. My Thai is not brilliant but my partner said that the officer also said that Immigration are looking for new premises for the proposed move.

I wonder has anyone else picked up on this, given that the offices only moved around fairly recently. The difference for me personally would be 8km(now) or 90+ if they are in fact relocating.

Would be nice if the PKK staff moved to Hua Hin.. as my previous dealings with the chief there has been nothing less than professional. Hua Hin could certain bear some spring cleaning.

Just went to the HH office yesterday, they confirmed that they will move end of Nov to a new location beside the 3 Girls restaurant on the Klong road.

I was very impressed with the staff, fast, efficient and friendly.

Thanks for the updates. Looks like Dan Singkhon maybe closing then, since the officer did mention a new office location in HH. Pity, from my perspective, since DS has nice staff, no queues, not to mention the distance from my home ;-)

That's the place. The immigration officer had a map of HH taped to her desk and made a point of showing me the new location. I said "is that near the 3 Girls restaurant?" and she said yes, right beside.......

Just to confirm that Dan Singkhon Immigration has indeed moved to the new Hua Hin location mentioned by the above posters(see map by Maestro).

For your information they accept postal reporting and I did this successfully on my last report date a few days after the office transferred.

Once again thanks for the info on the location of the new office.

Thank you. I have now move the marker for it to the new location on the map of Thailand Immigration Offices and will try to find out the official mailing address. What address did you use, thetefldon?

Do you have the GPS coordinates for the office being readied at Dan Singkhon, or alternatively can you get them with this lookup tool? I'm preparing for an update of the map when the time comes.
