When I log on I usually go to "View new content" and get a list of posts since my last visit. This is usually about 20-30 pages but sometimes I get a message that there is no new content.

This has happened perhaps 3 or 4 times and is very annoying as I loose track of threads I'm following, and it never happened with the old setup.

I use Win XP Pro with IE 8

Right, so will try that but what if I have not logged on for more than 24 hours I'll still miss some posts.

And if that works why shouldn't the "View new Content"

Obviously difficult to track down as it happens so rarely but am I the only one getting this problem.
