ericg1953 Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 I have just put down a deposit on a new condo. They are breaking ground in October of 2005 and will be expected to finish in December 2006. What do I need to do from a legal standpoint. I have the contract in hand. Everyone on this board has been very helpful and I appreciate all the advice. I brought the contract to a lawyer before signing to make sure all was ok. You should do the same, but it is maybe too late as you have paid the deposit. If something is wrong I think you still can pull out but unfortunately loose the deposit. Go see a lawyer, ask him to check the contract. Good Luck What do I need to do from a legal standpoint.
