rics21
Take Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin Road), turn to No. 32 passing Ayutthaya, Angthong, Singburi, change to No. 11 passing Phitsanulok, Uttaradit, Phrae, then turn left to Highway No. 103, drive on until passing Ngao district and turn right to Highway No. 1 which takes you to Phayao and then to Chiang Rai. The whole distance is 785 km. my last experience there, it took me approximate 9 hrs. it was during the long weekend. if u r driving there now, it may take u less than that.
