Report: Germany launches large-scale search in Berlin for terrorists

BERLIN (BNO NEWS) -- German authorities have launched a large-scale search in Berlin for two suspected terrorists who are planning to carry out suicide bombings, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The report, citing people close to the investigation, said the suspected Islamic extremists from Pakistan are believed to be planning an attack on a prominent location in the German capital in the coming weeks. They are believed to already be in Berlin.

The Wall Street Journal further reported that a second group of terrorists is also planning to travel to Germany, but that their attack is not expected to take place until early next year.
