Right outside the Domestic Terminal is where the Car Park is @ about 250 baht for 24hrs.

Is it a covered parking? :o

Is it a covered parking? :o

Both covered and open, but as you get your ticket, speak to one of the many car park employees and ask them to find a suitable spot, for a small tip, say 100 baht, they will take care of your car, think of it as a little insurance :D

can anybody give some detailled informations about parking a car (longterm, not just pick-up people from airport) at the airport ?

is there a parking lot at both domestic and international terminal ? how much does it cost a day / week ? is it safe ? how far from the terminal building ? anybody has some experience with this topic ? as I have a car now, but live 35 km away from the airport, I might consider parking my car there for some short trips by air rather than take a taxi....

At Itnl terminal there is no specific long term car park , you just leave the car in the regular car park. Sometimes i leave the car there for 3 days and it costs roughly 800 baht. So its roughly 280 baht per day. Never had an problems with security. If your 35 ks from the airport probably cheaper to use taxis.

we have first class insurance cover for all driving staff.

Can anybody clarify this? I didn't know that you could insure drivers. Thought that you can only insure the vehicle.

thanks folks, helpful informations.... but 250 Baht a day is not really a bargain.... though I use to have a lot of luggage always, I still might continue to take the taxi in the future......

// Time for a topic merge

Good info to know.
