Hauppauge Tv Card - Where To Buy In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I had a good look around for a Hauppauge about a year ago, very rare here. Only seen in one shop in the despised Panthip - therefore probably a fake.

Bangkok distributor is rumoured to be:

The amount of time you will waste hunting for them, it's best to order from abroad online if your really need one.

Phaeton, thanks for the help, saves me spending a day trawling pantip. I will try emailing the supplier, but if I got a reply it would be the first time that's ever happened to me in Thailand.

What did you do in the end? Order one from abroad?

II bought a cheap MSI VOX-II at a place in Fortune, flakey, difficult to get and keep working under windows, impossible (for me) under Linux; discovered there was nothing worth watching and gave up.

I wanted the Hauppauge because it seemed the best bet for Linux (BT chipsets). There is a semi-specialized place selling computer video gear including TVs at Fortune, one floor up, overlooking the big atrium, facing the escalators.

Chok Dee...

I had to google to know what you meant.
