Visiting Bangkok with Family for 1st time need your KIND & VALUABLE advices.

Dear all Great members of the side,

This is my 1st post with you, I am writing this message to you with my big hope

And desire to get your kind advices. Please help me.

I found your address by sending emails to my many friends, by browsing and also by asking in several expert sides by posting. And finally I came to you are best side for asking any help considering Thailand.

I am 27 years old Man, coming to Thailand with

a)My Mother.

b)Younger brother who is 24 and youngest one is 16 years

c)My Sister who is 20.

We are totally 5 members are planning to be in Thailand for 10 day’s.

I am bringing my mother for her medical treatment in Bermudan hospital.

May be 2/3 day’s is enough for her there. She just needs some medical Check up.

I would like to know following information’s from you regarding Bangkok –

1)Do you have any advice regarding any other hotel in BKK near Bermudan hospital?.

2) We prefer a appertment also ,as we can cook there. Can you tell me is it possible to get a appertment for 3/4 day's at Bankok? And what will be the cost.

2)What are the places to see in Bangkok?.

3)Where to go for shopping in Bangkok? This is most importent question as my family love to have shopping.

After staying 3/4 days in Bangkok, I like to take them another city.

I don’t like to take my family in to puket I think this is not the right place for family tour. I thought may be pattya but I read the post hear and found that pattya also not good for a family tour.

Then I saw several messages where you are advised to go Hua Hin.

And also some messages hear about to go Koh Samui .

4) Will you please advice where to go reather then Bankok?.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Razzle: as this is your first trip to Thailand, why not try some of our delicious cuisine instead of self-catering.

There are lots of inexpensive hotels near to Bermuda Hospital with restaurants. Notably the Nana Hotel, which is also conveniently located for take-aways.

Nana is a lively hotel, I would not reccomend it for you. Bangkok has an array of great hotels at even better prices, I'm sure you'll find a place you and your family will like

Well for a nice new hotel, quietly very near the action but far away enough you cant beat the grand majestic its in the smae soi as the marriott

USD only about 60-70 bucks.

I think they have apts as well but if you want the facilities you pay more.

Two rests, nice pool, nice rooms all big screen tvs, wireless internet on req.

If you have the budget for the price its the best of an average bunch.

And of course Annies is opposite and its only a stagger home from sin.

Notably the Nana Hotel, which is also conveniently located for take-aways.

I assume we are still talking about cuisine? :o

Ahhh the nana...Many a fun night spent here, fressh from blighty and before heading on down to patta's to see the gf. :D

Dear Snoophound ,

Many thank's for your information.

Actually our budget per room (2 person) is 1500 bath ,and we are totaly 6 person.

So usd 60/70 is Expencive for us.

What about Hotel Ambasador of Bankok ?. One of my friend adviced about this hotel. Is it good?.How far this is from the Hospital.

Also I am not hearing anything from others about Shopping / Tour .

I expect to hear from you all soon.

Thank's in Advance.

Appears, this inquiry has been handled as a troll. Maybe it is.

What is cute here, "Bermuda" hospital name breaks less bones in my thongue that the real name of the establisment.

The whole family should just stay at the Bermudagrad, they have great food and the rooms are waay better than the Ambassador.

Everybody could sign up for some light cosmetic surgery or even a sex change.

Maybe insurance could cover it all.

......and I suggest you keep a room at the Nana. :o
