I just spoke to a Swedish friend. In the meantime Julian Assange is tipped as MAN OF THE YEAR by Time Magazine in the US

It's not always a good thing. He'll be in good company...

1938

You and others seem to forget WHY Time Magazine elects a certain individual or group:

Why do you think I need reminding? I'm the one who posted that it isn't always a good thing. However, I might need reminding that not everyone here is a native speaker of English. Even native speakers get mixed up so I can understand why you did.

You're right but it wasn't really necessary to spoil a lot of people's mood by posting a picture of a man who was responsible for the deaths of many many millions...:(

And, you're right again about getting mixed up sometimes since not everybody here on this forum speaks/writes proper English, even when they're native; the many slangs I read puzzle me many times.

But come on really....................

Interpol and the UK get involved like USA's poodles to arrest the

guy not because of rape......but because he didnt wear a condom .......give me a break ! :cheesy: :cheesy:

Arrest Warrant for "Sex Crimes" Against Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange Is for "Sex Without a Condom", NOT Non-Consensual Rape Using Force

Interpol has issued an arrest warrant for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange for "sex crimes".

Everyone assumed it was for rape.

But it turns out it was for violating an obscure Swedish law against having sex without a condom.

and look who is preparing the European Arrest Warrant ...........

The UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca),

so now not wearing a condom is a serious organised crime that merits

a European Arrest Warrant ?????......what more serious

than the stuff Julian Assange wants to reveal about a major US bank..........

The world has gone crazy

The weekend of 15 August starts the season of the crayfish in Sweden. Evidently Julian wanted to attend a Swedish 'kräftskiva' (crayfish party). Ardin purportedly helped with the arrangements. Unlucky Friday 13th for Julian.

the woman behind the trap

STOCKHOLM (Rixstep) — The person behind the police complaint against Julian Assange has now been identified. She is Anna Ardin of Gotland, working at the University of Uppsala and residing on Södermalm in Stockholm.

Radical Feminist

Ardin is a notorious radical feminist - but in a sense not necessarily known much outside Sweden. Feminism in some circles focuses on how men achieve social dominance through sex. Many of these Swedish radical feminists are militant lesbians who use fabricated stories of sexual harassment in an attempt to 'transform' society.

Invite to Stockholm

It was Ardin who according to her Twitter feed invited Assange to Stockholm. She was briefly appointed his press secretary during his visit. Her name was originally included on the press releases about the WikiLeaks agreement with the Pirate Party but it has since been removed.

Ardin has also been busy pruning her Twitter feed and closing down and/or locking her websites and blogs.

'Kräftskiva'

The weekend of 15 August starts the season of the crayfish in Sweden. Evidently Julian wanted to attend a Swedish 'kräftskiva' (crayfish party). Ardin purportedly helped with the arrangements. Unlucky Friday 13th for Julian.

Newzglobe.com

Newzglobe.com claim to have been in contact with the people around Anna Ardin whose name has spread like wildfire in the Swedish blogosphere the past few days. They specifically identify Ardin as the one who filed the police complaint, describing her as the political secretary of the Swedish 'Brotherhood Movement', a fringe group around Sweden's social democrats with decidedly 'cultish' leanings.

Newzglobe.com contacted Peter Weiderud, chairman of the 'movement'. 'She's on sick leave', he told Newzglobe.com.

Weiderud continues.

'This is all a police matter and it happened in her leisure time. I'm responsible for her health.'

Seven Steps to Legal Revenge

Ardin is known to have been infatuated with (and have translated) the infamous 'Seven Steps to Legal Revenge' which details how to inflict pain on enemies by getting people to stalk them and by using other nefarious tricks. Ardin ardently believes the patriarchal aspect of Western society is only held in place by the male's ability to rape women.

:o...When I wrote the comment, above, I wasn't aware yet of the following article, making the WikiLeaks'' Julian Assange "SEXUAL ASSAULT" story (and Anna Ardin) even more absurd, strange and weird; this was written before the present uproar:

It's hard to imagine how Julian Assange could have been lured to Stockholm by the likes of Sweden's Brotherhood Movement and even more by the likes of Anna Ardin. Ardin is a name that's not been unknown in the Swedish media and blogosphere and the current epithet 'world's most hated woman' fits snugly. She's not exactly the glamour model either, even though she does her best with lipstick and by squeezing her boobs together in one shot. Most photos make her look instead like a lipstick lesbian without the lipstick.

snip

Could Julian have so misjudged the situation? Could he have so misjudged the sexual signals, the innuendos, the body language?

Didn't he check out Anna Ardin before accepting her offer? And if so: how could he possibly think he wasn't the proverbial fly to Ardin's spider?

Did he ask Rick Falkvinge about it? Or anyone from the Swedish Pirate Party? It's not as if Ardin was an unknown card. Her CV was all over the net as was her seven-step programme for exacting revenge on enemies. She'd written masters degree essays on the Cuban resistance and lesbian/queer feminism, she's been backing pro-arab anti-semitic causes - Julian Assange saw none of this?

She opened the first lesbian nightclub on her home island of Gotland?

snip

This same Ardin described already before the Assange affair as pretty toxic at any number of Swedish websites - that subsequently crowned her 'the most hated woman in the world'? This 'Satmaran the Black'? Assange and his friends knew none of this? Got no whiff of it? Their warning lights did not go off?

snip

So what let him down this time?

He spent the evening at Ardin's flat. In town. Tjurbergsgatan 36. She had a crayfish party. She was the initiator. (In Sweden women usually are.) She beat the drum, set the key, set the tempo. Assange might be formidable outside Sweden, but it's another story inside. And yet somehow this amenable individual, winner of 2009's Amnesty International Media Award and 2010's Sam Adams Award, placing his personal safety in the hands of one of Sweden's most neurotic women, suddenly gained the edge and began telling her what to do?

The Assange affair has made WikiLeaks famous even inside Sweden where it wasn't beforehand. People stopped Assange on the street to say hello, to express their support, to tell him they think he should get the Nobel Peace Prize. Assange and WikiLeaks stock is only rising in Sweden.

On the other hand, the world around's finally seen the underbelly of the perfect Swedish society, those currents deep down that threaten to sweep innocents out to sea. The world around's not particularly happy (rather more like shocked) about the revelations.

The most hated woman in the world will continue to be hated, will continue to wage her ongoing online propaganda campaign against the WikiLeaks founder, will likely grow to be only more hated, as will her organisation, as will the sinister trends in Swedish society that make things like this possible in the first place.

I wouldn't believe one single word about such a conspiracy also............until I read the article in post # 133.

Stranger things happened.

The arms of the secret services are long, very long and it indeed looks like it that Assange acted very naive when he went to Sweden upon an invitation by that mysterious Brotherhood Movement, Anna Ardin is connected with and held a speech for a mere 100 people in a Restaurant/Bar called Glenfiddich Warehouse in Stockholm's old town: http://www.glenfiddichwarehouse.se/

After the speech he didn't go into one of the 4 or 5 star hotels...no...instead he was invited to stay with Anna Ardin and her place and slept with her during that weekend.....a woman with the reputation:

"Her CV was all over the net as was her seven-step programme for exacting revenge on enemies. She'd written masters degree essays on the Cuban resistance and lesbian/queer feminism, she's been backing pro-arab anti-semitic causes - Julian Assange saw none of this?

Or was there another reason why Assange went to Sweden and nobody knows about..yet ?

New witnesses in the Assange case

Assanges Swedish defense lawyer, Bjorn Hurtig, has presented two witnesses he wants to be heard as a part of the investigation of the rape case.

Hurtig is also surprised that the Hogsta Domstolen did not try the case especially the fact that Marianne Ny does not accept to hear Assange via phone or videolink, as many Swedish courts today use phone and video for hearings in order to save money.

It would actually be interesting to know why Marianne Ny does not accept to hear Assange via phone or video link.

http://www.skandinav...nks/JEIE-8BRTB3

NOTE:

Tonight (Friday Dec 3) there was an interview on television from Sweden with Mr. Bjorn Hurtig, Assanges lawyer.

He explained that he contacted the Prosecutor (at the time) and asked her if she wanted to meet Mr. Assange and talk to him regarding the sexual assault allegations' case.

She replied she did not want to talk to Assange.

He than asked her is it was allowed for Assange to leave Sweden. He was.

Later, at a certain stage, she called Mr. Hurtig that she now wanted to talk to Assange but at that time Assange was no longer able to travel -back- to Sweden anymore.

The evidence in the sexual assault case is paper thin and even the Lawyer was puzzled as why this case was blown into such huge proportions.

What is at stake in the Assange trial?

Needless to say, the Assange rape case has become a prestige case for Marianne Ny, the Chief prosecutor who has been sitting on the case for more than three months now and made it impossible for herself and the Swedish state to throw the case out.

She will have to follow through and the only way for her to save, at least face, is to make sure Assange in sentenced to jail for rape. Marianne Ny will do whatever it takes to put Assange behind bars.

Marianne Ny and the Swedish police will bring Assange into custody once he arrives in Sweden, normally it would be Kronobergshaktet in Stockholm but they will have to take into consideration that there have been several death threats made against Assange so they will have to make sure he is protected from fatal attacks.

It would be devastating for Swedish law enforcement and legal system if they brought Assange in for questioning in a juridical rape that did not take place in anyones bed but in the heads of radical female prosecutors.

The fact that Assange will be exposed at a time when several organisations are wanting him dead, puts him at big risk, especially in a country where our Prime Minister (Assassination of Olof Palme in Stockholm on February 28th, 1986 - LP* ) was shot to death in an open street walking home from the movies and our Foreign Minister (Mrs.Ylva Anna Maria Lindh - assassinated on September 11, 2003 - LP) was stabbed to death while shopping in a high end boutique in Stockholm.

I do not think Assange is safe in the hands of the provincial and naive Swedish police.

Assange will be questioned by the police and prosecutor for some days before a court hearing where a judge will decide if he needs to remain in custody.

Being that he is a foreigner and accused of having raped native Swedish women, he will probably be charged and sentenced.

Statistically in Sweden foreign or men of foreign origin that are accused of rape by native Swedish women are sent to jail. Once in jail he will be at risk for being killed every day.

Anna Ardin and Sofia Wilen will have to sit though the trial and every intimate detail in their dealings with Assange will be shared with the rest of the world.

Few will have any sympathy with these revengeful groupies and they will be loathed by a lot of people.

Their actions have already made it more difficult for the real victims of rape to come forward and get the help they need.

I think it slowly dawns on these two women who outsmarted themselves that as soon as Assange is in Sweden for questioning more details about their promisquous behaviour will be published and they will have very little to be proud of.

And they fool no one by claiming the walked into the police station for advice being concerned about STDs, if you are concerned you contact the healthcare for testing and you avoid having sex until you have tested negative, the police cannot help you with those tests.

Eventhough they now try via trolls in various Swedish forums to make it look like there was violence involved in the rape case it is to late, they have already said themselves to media and to the police that they never felt threatened by Assange and that there was no violence involved.

I am Swedish and I can read and I know exactly how to use and to abuse the Swedish system for my own purposes and so did Anna and Sofia, they went to the police for pure revenge and they made sure the tabloid Expressen found out about it.

That was their plan, they executed it and now they will have to live with the consequences.

They are the most hated women in Sweden right now.

For their sake, let us hope nothing bad happens to Assange due to their irresponsable behaviour.

Despite all the input from impartial members on Thai Visa, posting page after page of very suspect "evidence" from very suspect Internet blogs is not going to prove much of anything.

I'm afraid that it looks like Mr. Assange will have to face these rape charges in a court of law which will establish his guilt or innocence based on the facts.

We all know that you are the Champion impartial member ;)

If you write something UG, better write the facts; there are NO rape charges against Mr. Assange; those were dropped in August already. What's left are accusations by 2 girls (friends btw) who both slept with Assange and had consensual sex.

One week later, they BOTH decided to step to the police; one can wonder why it took so long.

The second prosecutor in this case, Marianne Ny, Chief prosecutor, is "busy" with this case for more than 3 months now already and she's considered a feminist prosecutor in Sweden.

The point is that she can't withdraw herself from the case anymore, but wish she had.

She says Assange has not been charged. ............"he is wanted for interrogation..."

During an aired Television interview on Friday evening in Europe, Assanges Swedish defense lawyer, Bjorn Hurtig, told that there is no objection whatsoever to interrogate Mr. Assange on an Embassy anywhere in Europe in the presence of Police and the Prosecutor from Sweden.

He has nothing to hide but it's obvious that Mr. Assange can't travel at this moment, caused by the same idiotic behavior of the prosecution in Sweden when they were asked by Hurtig if they wanted to talk to Assange...they didn't.

Of course, the Lady prosecutor in Sweden is making the case much tougher with words as "rape"" but she knows herself that there is no rape case.

She has to do so because she knows she has a weak case but not only Thai can lose face...a Swedish Feminist Prosecutor can lose face also...big time and she will !

If they have such a big case why:

"Rosander says Sweden has not asked for extradition and would not comment whether it would. The prosecutor has not filed formal charges against Assange.

"He is not charged but he is a suspect in among other things rape. The other crimes are that he is suspected of sexual molestation and unlawful coercion," Rosander said."

Hmm, where in the arrest warrant does it say sexual misconduct? It says sex crimes. That's serious.

It's all well and good to claim the charges are fabricated or that there was no assault. However, Mr. Assange still has to answer to the charges, which the Supreme Court of Sweden refused to dismiss. There must have been something there for an appeal not to be considered, right? Have a look at the Interpol document;

Was there sexual abuse, or sexuellt utnyttjande, in which Mr. Assange abused his position of power or authority?

With the spread of HIV, herpes and hepatitis, many laws have been broadened to deal with the people that wilfully spread these diseases. Usually a sexual assault is deemed to have occurred when someone touches any part of another person's body in a sexual way, even through clothes, without that person's consent. Some jurisdictions broadened the definition to include sexual intercourse without taking precautions. The fact that Mr. Assange ignored the request to use a condom and then refused to be tested for a sexually transmitted disease left his partner with emotional trauma.

Don't snicker. It's a legitimate fear. It is also up to the judge to decide after a careful review of the facts. Let the Swedish courts do their job.

INTERPOL, the world's largest police organization, made public a red notice earlier this week at the request of Swedish authorities. That amounts to an international wanted person's alert, but does not obligate a police force to arrest the person.

Sweden made the accustions LOOK serious by using the word "rape" and you change it into "very serious charges including rape" whilst the wordings of the Swedes are a bit different:

""He is not charged but he is a suspect in among other things rape. The other crimes are that he is suspected of sexual molestation and unlawful coercion," Rosander said."

Apart from that, I was under the impression that someone is ALWAYS innocent until proven guilty, but as usual, you're having the hammer of the Judge in your hands, once more, suggesting he is guilty of rape.

Nasty habit.

Note to the foxy patriots who want the head of WikiLeak's Julian Assange on a plate with his severed penis in his mouth: He's not a rapist. The Swedish women didn't accuse him of rape but of not using a condom.

The sex was in both cases completely consensual. Mark Stephens, Assange's attorney in London, told AOL News what Swedish prosecutors told him: They want to question him regarding "sex by surprise" charges, which could get him a maximum fine of 5,000 Swedish kronor ($715).

Quote:

According to Swedish law, a woman can denounce a man if he doesn't use a condom after he has been requested to wear it. They call it "sex by surprise".

Police reports obtained by the Daily Mail show that Assange met the two women who denounced him at an August 11 event that was held in Stockholm by the Social Democratic Party. The first woman denounced him because the condom broke while having sex at Assange's apartment. Both were seen acting normally the next day.

The second woman's statement to the police is strange: The 27-year-old photographer said she went to the event because she's fascinated by Assange. She managed to get into a lunch with him and other people. Two days later they talked on the phone and she invited him to her apartment 40 miles from Stockholm, paying for his ticket because—according to her—Assange had no cash or credit cards.

She complained that "he paid more attention to his computer rather than me" on the train ride, and that "the passion and excitement seemed to have disappeared" when they arrived to her apartment. They had sex using a condom. The next morning, they had sex again, but this time Assange didn't use a condom. According to the New York Times, friends of the woman say that he did not comply with her appeals to stop when the condom was no longer in use. Assange claims that she didn't force her and that sex was always consensual. She didn't accuse him of rape, but of not using a condom.

anyway main thing is all this will not stop the information about a major US bank coming out

because by now he says he has passed copies to many other people

And now we should start proceedings against the scumbag banksters for financial rape :bah:

Why all the dishonest spin?

I never said he was guilty. I said that he is wanted on very serious sexual charges including rape - which he is - but you keep trying to claim that he is innocent with nothing but very questionable claims on Internet blogs to back up your opinion.

I said that he is guilty of spreading stolen documents which he has admitted.

As was said recently by a very wise man: "Let the Swedish courts do their job."

Apart from that, I was under the impression that someone is ALWAYS innocent until proven guilty, but as usual, you're having the hammer of the Judge in your hands, once more, suggesting he is guilty of rape.

:lol:YOU ask me?...you, who are dishonestly spinning and twisting words and sentences in the Swedish article?

You indeed never said he was guilty but you surely suggested so and I NEVER said he was innocent.

Fact is that I studied some more info on this alleged sexual assault nonsense case than you did, also in languages you don't read nor understand.

The case was already closed in Sweden in August but some hardline feminist posecutor, laughed about in Sweden itself, found it necessary to re-open the case..a case where the rape charges were dropped already in August by the first prosecutor, a lady also.

And now rape charges again, 3 months later ? Only in Sweden

But, you will never admit you're wrong so I beter leave it Mr. Champion Impartial member

Can someone supply a link from the last few days that states Assange is wanted for rape and not sex without a condom. Everything I've googled, from is stating it's non use of condom and not rape as was previously thought.

I find it hard to believe that this Assange guy is allowing all of this to happen when the maximum penalty he could face is only $715. For someone who has become famous for exposing cover-ups, you'd think he would know that the cover-up and the scandal which follows is usually more damaging than the original offense itself.
