Narcotics Suppression Bureau begins tour of Pattaya Hotels

PATTAYA: -- The Narcotics Suppression Bureau, a division of the Royal Thai Police is currently touring hotels around Pattaya to educate hotel staff on what do if they suspect hotel guests or other members of staff are using illegal drugs. Police Lieutenant Colonel Achawan from the Region 2 Office led a seminar of nearly 150 staff members of the Amari Orchid Resort and Tower at their Mantra Restaurant

Sounds like another "target the foreigner" campaign to me. While visiting these hotels it would make perfect sense to test all of those they are lecturing to at the same time.

Then again, not as much money from finding a bellboy tests positive to yabba as busting some poor tourist with a spliff.
