dekchaijohn
Can anyone recommend a trained hair stylist.Every one I try if it is 80 Baht or 250 Baht they all reach for the electric shears as soon as you sit down.Surely somewhere in Pattaya you can get a decent haircut. FarangBuddha
Go for a buzz cut (# 1, 2, or 3) and 15 minutes later you're done. Cheap, cool, and no muss in the morning.
JSixpack
>they all reach for the electric shears as soon as you sit down. Tell them not to use the shears. Next.
Oink
I also have an aversion to “Sir would you like skinhead #1, 2, or 3?”. They seem to assume that if you speak English you want your head shaved. Maybe it is a throwback to the last century when David Beckham shaved his head and the British men followed suit en mass. Or it could be they think we are so hard up that it maximizes the periods between having to pay for a haircut and saves on shampoo! I use De Beaute on the 4th floor Central Festival where they are happy to scissor cut, but you have to ask. Reasonable too at Baht 199 and a free cut after every 5th cut with a stamp card.
