Anyone ever see a menu like this?

Thai Food Mary's

The translation is commented in the html source

Strange... :o

Menu phrases are Thai sayings that refer to food or edible animals:

Column A:

Drink water under someone's elbow

Frogs choose the boss

Fish live in hot water, fish die in cold water

Know it like a duck

Toast (in English)

Hate the animal but eat the eggs, hate eels but eat eel curry

A toad on a palanquin

Column B:

Get blood from a crab

At high tide fish eat ants, at low tide ants eat

Sugar near ants

Fresh rice and tasty fish

A chick in the hand (used to be "Bathe in hot water before others")

Catch two fish in two hands

When the peas are cooked, the sesame is burnt

totster :D
