Most reviews seem to focus on a different revision (as usual diffrent specs for Asia/US)

This one is advertised as 22" with 21.5" viewable and very stylish, any body purchased them in Thailand and using them? opinions? Seen them for about 5.5k each, will run 2 together

I cant give you anymore than general advice. I used to work in Audio and Tv in John Lewis, Oxford Street, LG products were always good and gave no trouble, if we had a guarantee problem with(cost wise) we would not continue to deal with them. When I left LG Chem were sharing research and develeopment with Philips so I would have no qualms about buying an LG product. As a Korean manufacturer they will be less expensive than a Japanese product. If you want to check the quality of visual screen, walk to the side and look at the screen if you can still see the picture ok they are using good quality components, if the picture has gone pale/light colour them they are cutting costs. Hope that helps you.

Nong, generally agree about reliability, my current 22" LG LCD is just about to die (have to whack it now and again to pick up signal) after 3.5years (I consider that good), when we outfit our last offices we ordered 26 19" Philips LCD monitors, 12 of them were returned in first 3 months, 3 DOA, many just fizzled out, and 3 nearly caught fire - smoke etc.. The next batch to equip the sales staff with dual monitors were all LG and no problems to date (maybe 1 or 2 returned). So as long as they are not taking much from Philips.

I have the 2360 (the next size up?).

Haven't had it very long, but so far, so good...

Only thing I'd add - it doesn't seem to have any VESA mounting points. Not a problem if you're just using the stand that comes with it, but if you're getting an arm / mount of some description for multi-monitor setups, that might be an issue.
