I've got some rims that I'd like to get wrapped instead of painted, so I was wondering if there are any shops in Phuket that do this? For anyone that doesn't know, this is a tape/film made by 3M that you apply to a surface/paint.

I have seen vinyl.. Never seen the newer 'wraps'..

There is on the island the dip system to add faux carbon etc.. But you cant dip a car chassis.

rims are usually to hot to be wrapped, wrap bubbles or peals off

paint is the way to go, if you drive hard, heat resistent paint is needed

Yes I do drive hard, but was hoping to keep the Volks original underneath the new wraps without having to go the paint route.

Be carefull wrapping wheel rims ...not a good idea..i just come back from uk where we had 2 cars fully wraped ..looked great but the trims have got damaged already...by the way there are a few sign shops that do 3m wrapping in phuket.

i f you turn right at centrall t lights into phuket town srtaight on through the lights.. there are 2 sign shops aout 60 mtrs on the left that do it..
