Ready Made Curtains

Is there anywhere on the island (Samui), other than Homepro that sells ready made, pre-packed curtains in large sizes to fit ful length windows & doors?

there is a massive curtain place on the ringroad between Tesco and Big C

Hi Boater, if you are referring to Surat Baan Suuay (only 1 i can think of in this vicinity) then they only do made to measure, lots of choice, sometimes too much, and a little more than i am looking to spend. But thanks anyway.

Tescos and BigC have a (very) limited supply. I personally wouldn't be seen dead in them, but hey, each to their own!

Of course you could hang them back-to-front although I am not sure what the neighbours might say.

You can buy most of the fabrics in Nathon,not exactly the fully lined stuff , but decent enough material. Get one of the seamstresses around the island to hem them up & add the hooks for the loops on top. Rods" railings" home pro or most wood product shops around the island.

Yes would agree with Rooo, here.... the shop he is probably referring to, is located by the market, past Tesco & gas station ..... just up a side street, perhaps 20 metres if memory serves.... All sorts of materials.... not sure if she will make the curtains.

I used a lady near the Discount Tile shop (on left) around Ban Tai area coming into Maenam on right side of (husband makes windows..so a lot of glass and aluminum out side) . just ask there... she did an excellent job for next to nothing & even came out to measure... I did not get mine lined, but am sure she could do, if you supply the lining material...

Also tried the other place mentioned & gave up after the second attempt to "get it right".....

There is also another curtain shop opposite the 75 shop (near Maenam) , although I have not used, but could be worth a try...?
