ChiangMai2
I'm after a chest freezer, pretty sure they are available in lots of places ( not that I've ever looked or noticed them ) Can anyone point me in the right direction, I'm too lazy to traipse around all over the place so if anyone can recommend a place that has a cheap selection I would be eternally grateful. Not looking for anything fancy and don't want to spend a great deal on it. Makro or Siam TV fit the bill ?? Regards CM2

afarang
No such animal ,as a cheap freezer .Mine 3 years ago was B9,000, worth every penny. Singer dealers sell them, Also your local electrical whitegoods shops might not stock them ,but can order in for you. Mine is a Sharp.

Anywhere between 5 and 15k is cool. I just looked online (UK) and saw some at around 25k-50k, I'm sure they are worth every penny but our needs are basic, a little one will be adequate. CobraSnakeNecktie
Consider the efficiency rating. In this hot climate will use a lot of electricity keeping your Dexter hobby in the deep freeze.
harrry
Less than I thought...my small one from macro only costs me less than 150 a month to run and it keeps things very very cold. I save more than that in the ability to keep food safely.
