Hi,

After spending the last month in Thailand, I'm now back in Canada.

At the facility where I was staying in Thailand, the IT specialist set up my computer so that it could access their network with id and password, and whatever changes were necessary. Now that I'm back in Canada, my computer says it's connected to my home network here, but whenever I try to access webpages, I keep getting a message saying that there's a problem loading webpages.

I know there's nothing wrong with the network itself, since my second computer can bring up webpages, no problem. Any ideas what I should be looking for in the network settings? It's a netbook using XP.

Thanks in advance.

Try to enter the IP address number directly. If it works then check at the network settings if he entered a DNS server and set the entry to obtain the server automatically.

Thanks. As well as making setting changes on the network, I also had to make changes through tools in Firefox to get that up. Now working on IE Explorer to see what changes necessary to get that up as well.
