$Us 7.2 Billion Recovered In Madoff Scandal

Apparently there are some investors in this world who -- unlike many of those who post on this ThaiVisa.com Forum -- do not have a compulsive need to let others know about it and just how f-ckin' smart they are. This gent apparently was worth close to $US 20 billion and the people even at the Forbes Wealthiest columns had never heard of him... the money refunded was any funds in excess of his actual investment.

“It was amazing,” said a former Goldman executive. “The guy was worth $10 billion, just at Goldman, and that alone would have made him one of the richest men in the country, yet he wasn't in the Forbes 400,” the magazine’s annual roster of the rich and super-rich, until after the Madoff scandal.
