I just got a trip alert from Kayak for HKT-LAX on Asiana Air. R/T is about $1100 or 33K baht. Asiana was voted world's best airline and is a member of star alliance.

FYI, you can "sometimes" find the same deal if you go directly to the airlines website...and "sometimes" you can even get a better deal. I've purchased tickets off several different consolidators websites. But if a problem arises, I've found it easier if you have bought the ticket directly from the airline. They "usually" deal with the problem quicker, are easier to get in touch with (i.e. sometimes have offices in the airport where you are stuck!), etc.

How strange. Just did a search for BKK - LAS for same dates. Lowest price is 55k!!!! But your fares did turn up...great fares. I will for sure put these guys in my "hot" favorites for air travel!

Also forgot to thank whoever posted the bit about clearing your cookies from the internet browser. The websites do raise the fares every time you return back to the site...at least they did for me. Once I cleared the cookies the price went down by about 75-100 $US...significant no?

Unless your link is wrong or has somehow been changed, that link posted is one way with no return in August. I can't imagine any airline, even the Chinese cheapies, for 21K baht R/T in summertime.

Yeah Steelepulse....that is true only a one way ticket...had me going there for awhile that Asiana flight looks sweet..but not for one way!...I still got my ticket a bit better with China Eastern Airlines. Misterman just clear your cookies the next time you check and see as it made a difference on mine or don't up to you.

I fly back and forth between LA and BKK a lot and in my experience, China Airlines has great prices connecting in Taiwan... I've gotten as low as $960...

You have to be careful with China Air- last time I flew they didn't have an entertainment system, just drop down screens in the center aisle. It was a long boring flight home. Would rather pay more and have movies at least. Also I use a travel agent because I don't want to pay all the fees again for luggage going from lax or sfo to inland airports with the domestic carriers. Most times some cost to lax as it is to las vegas, phoenix, salt lake, or even houstin.

i use Mox and sidestep to compare, seems mox has better rates.

It's amazing that by changing your dates just a day or two either way different prices and options open up. I used this site for reference, then had a travel agent book the actual tickets as the online option from the airlines site didn't give a good price.

I have a United Mileage plus credit card that all my tickets go on and I use exclusively while in the US (a mile for every dollar spent) -- two years ago using my miles I flew Bkk-US-UK return for about $300. Was a great holiday

Just got a decent quote Korean Airlines Phuket to Lax about 36k.

Leaving mid june. ret. mid august.

Also Mox said that after Songkran there might be some promotions but High Season the states starts June 25.

At this point looks like Korean Air. Would like Thai but comes to over 50K+

Delta Air and Korean Air use the same miles.
