Hey Everyone,

My understanding is that when getting a Thai visa, you don't actually need a return ticket generally. Is this the case with a Philippines visa if I got it in Bangkok? Would I need a return ticket to get a Visa?

Hi Derek

No idea if you need to show a return ticket when getting a visa but...

Assuming that you intend to travel from Thailand to the Philippines for a short vacation.

In order to enter the Philippines you need to have a return ticket. I have been asked to show this on several occasions when arriving at the Manila airport immigration point.

Depending on your nationality, and the length of your stay you might not need a visa. There is No Visa Entry for 21 Days for most people (check the link)

If you want to stay longer you can visit an immigration office, and pay about 50 US dollars for a 38 day entension, then again.. as detailed here =>PI Immigration Bureau.
