Dilema, I was meant to go to immigration cheangwattana tomorrow morning to get a 1 yr extension. already have a work permit valid till 11.2011

Now hv been informed by co lawyer the following:

1. company employed me whilst my work permit application was being processed and paid me a salary reflects on png1. in oct, did not get wk permit till 16th Nov

2. Hence company / me have breached the Working of Alien Act. <What is this>

3. They advise that i go to Singapore and get another non b visa

I was under the impression that once your non b expired they then sync it to your work permit providing you have the right docs.

Any suggestions

Records show you worked illegally, but payed tax. I'm not sure how much problems that will give with immigration. However, getting a new visa from abroad will not solve that problem.

In case of a new started job immigration should accept the 2 months tax forms.
