January 8, 201115 yr We took our granddaughter to The Tin Museum, having promised the visit at Christmas, as we had been in November to find the Museum shut. She had been disappointed. Today, Saturday, Childrens Day, we arrived at 2.opm to find, in spite of The Gazette article, that the staff were shutting the gates and refused us entry. Another disappointment (The Gazette said The Museum would be open today,ALL DAY.) We were angry, and wonder who was responsible for this unscheduled closing,and again spoiling the day for a little girl of 8?
