Featured Replies

You know how a traditional a Thai house looks like Wat (Temple)

There are over 400 or more bats living on bottom of the roof.

Does anyone know how to get rid of them?.

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

If they are not bothering you leave them alone.

"Tirelessly swooping and diving in relentless pursuit of prey flies a number of often overlooked aerial phantoms that patrol the twilight hours between dusk and dawn. They are the ultimate night time predator....the bat! One bat can eat 600 mosquitoes in an hour! Bats save farmers and gardeners millions of dollars each year by consuming numerous crop pests."

I dont like them myself, always the risk of aerosol transmission of rabies. I would be interested in how to get rid of them also.

If they are not making themselves a bad problem why would you want them removed?

I watch them on many occasions at my house I have a covered parking full of plants, the gate light attacks the bugs and my water plants have their share of mosquitoes trying to lay eggs, the fish love it. :D

Anyway watching them catch mosquitoes if fascinating coming in at 50mph making a 160' turn and back out is really something, one occasion this bat came in full speed hit a mosquito and turned to go back out when a moth was flushed from my dok gao, the bat made a full stop dropped 90' straight down and hit the moth inches from the ground pulled back up at full speed with his dinner all I could do is say WOW! :D

If they like your house I think it is a blessing, and the fertilizer is really magic. As long as it is outside :D

Pest control folks have there ways of removal, but I wouldn’t do it unless they are a real problem.

Good post bartender100, :D

I used to shoot them with a shotgun.

When in flight of course or you will damage the house
