I just had chicken curry with pumpkin - as usual the pumpkin was delicious and as usual it left me feeling bloated and full after only a few bites.

Is pumpkin good for you, is it hight in carbohydrate and is it the same over here as back at home, as usually when I see it in the market it is green not orange.

pumpkin that u see in TH is different spp. from Farang's Pumpkin (Family CUCURBITACEAE)

Cucurbita musehata Deene Winter Squash ,Cushaw -Thai Phuk Thong

from nutritional fact , obviously Pumpkin has High Level of vit A , Beta-carotene (anti-oxidant)high Potassium , high fiber ,and low calories

me myself, i like it .. it's funny coz in TH pumpkin = veggie but i heard that farang thinks its fruit (i might be wrong) :o
