January 15, 201115 yr In april I plan after 5 years to move from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Can anybody advise me how to do with retirement visa, car, drivers license etc.? And how to find a good and not overpriced mover?
January 15, 201115 yr This post is very wide open for intupritation sir. Exactly what do you mean by help to move with "Retirement visa, car, drivers license etc"? If you mean what to do about notifying the proper authorities regarding a change of adress then I would suggest doing just that. On your next "90 day report"with your Retirement Visa, just do it in Hua Hin and let them know you have moved. They will help you with the paper-work I'm sure. The car and drivers license is not that important really but depending on what type of drivers license you have and when it expires I would just wait until it is about to expire then if you're still living in Hua Hin just change your adress when you re-apply to your Hua Hin addy. Paperwork on your car I wouldnt worry about that either until you want to sell it or have an accident etc. Until then, no need to do anything. As far as the part asking for advise on a good reliable moving company I trust another TV member will know more then I do sorry.

Good. haha The one bit of advice I can give you when you hire a moving company is that if at all possable you or one of your friends etc should go with the moving company or at the least try to arrange to follow the truck in your car. Trust me when I say this please.
