Copyrighted Photographs

Featured Replies

I'm currently making a website (thanks for the help Udon) for my Fathers new business and have designed a logo for him which is essentially a montage of photographs I have found on the net.

My question is this how do I know if the pictures I have used are copyrighted or not and what is safe to use.

Or is there a place where I can find a large collection of photographs which definitely are ok to use.

I just ask the owner / website admin if I can use the pics.

I can't answer that.

What kind of photographic subjects do you want?

Possibly it might vary from country to country but generally speaking - all photographs are the copyrighted property of the photographer unless he specifically signs away those rights.

If you want to use photgraphs, I am sure you can google for 'royalty-free photographs'
