hii my name is chan...

i'll be in krabi on 3,4 and 5th february..

may i have some advice from forumer here how to fully utilise my time there...

1. the place i should go

2. the place should i stay ( i prefer guesthouse )

3. he activities recommended and the cost

ur help would be greatly appreciated

If you want to keep costs low stay in Krabi Town...plenty of guesthouses around 200 Baht a night.....also an excellent night market very cheap again.

Take a boat out to Railey in the morning and enjoy the scenery and beaches.....have a great trip! :)

Wow...a backpacker without a Lonely Planet book! Great! Sorry...just a joke as pretty much every backpacker carries that "bible".

I would also recommend doing some google searches. I just did and a bunch of good info pops up.

I've backpacked to Krabi before (and i did not have a Lonely Planet guide, i despise those things!). Took a bus to Ao Nang, then a boat to Railay beach. We just walked around until we found a guesthouse that we liked. 500 baht a night will get a decent room with A/C and hot shower. Rock climbing is the main activity there so i recommend giving it a try!

i do have a guide book, and also doing some google search...but it's not stop me from asking a questions here...just for extra info...jap.gif
