I buy a lot of fruit, and have been trying to figure out the meaning of some of the signs sticking out of produce bins at the market.

For instance, many say "30 ann". Sometimes it's just "an" What does "ann" mean?

Most prices seem to be per kilo, but sometimes it's per fruit. Anyone know what the label difference would be?

Also, is it usual to bargain in Thailand like it is in Indonesia? Seems like it's all about fixed prices here.
