Driving From Chiang Mai To Samut Prakan

Featured Replies

I'll be driving from Chiang Mai to Samut Prakan for the first time, tomorrow morning. To Bang Pu Mai, near Sukhumvit. Can comeone give me best route to get through Bangkok in the early afternoon. Thanks so much. don

Hi Doc,

I would head for Saraburi then turn left onto highway # 1, follow that to the outer ring road and join the outer ring road in the direction that goes towards Bang Na (Eastern outer ring road).

The outer ring road will take you all the way to Samutprakarn and you will skirt around Bangkok instead of having to drive through it.

The Theparak Road exit would probably be the best place to come of for Bang Pu

Regards,

Tiger.
