I Needed a modem to connect to the net with the Netmax4home package a couple of months ago. I went to It com center here in Pattaya.

They had Modems from 1000 Baht to 3500 Bhat the sales lady asked me how many computers I would be connecting to the net after telling her only 1 she told me the 1000 baht modem would be the best choice as it was fool proof. It is a very small unit has a phonejack on one end and a USB jack on the other side. can not make a mistake. This unit has no power cord as it draws the power from the usb port as well. and is a very small unit 2 inches wide by 4 inches long and has 1 red light that blinks till you connect then stays red when you are connected.

I ran the software and it asked what country after choosing Thailand it asked the provider I chose TTT and it configured the modem and I was on line not even i bit of problem.

For any one interested it is a kingcom model 505
