I'm about to renew a contract, I'm wondering what others are paying. Worked out at 660 baht per hour for my first 25 hours. Excellent trainer, did wonders for my broken down body.

Well, Thai's who teach private Thai language lessons ask for 200 or 300 baht/hour, not 660 baht/hour. What makes a fitness trainer worth two or three language teachers? 660 is no small amount and good fitness trainer in the USA can be found for about that. Seems like a pretty nice career for Thai's as they could make upwards of 100,000 baht per month doing it. Note office staff tend to make just 15,000 baht a month (source: Thailand board of investment) so 660 baht sounds a bit questionable in the context of Thailand.

FYI. I'm paying 3000 / hour IN Bangkok.... he's not Thai (that helps...no mai pen rai attitude when I'm slacking off my routine) and so much in demand that he has had to hire add'l trainers to deal with the excess in clients.... A++++ for sure.

So if other customers are charged as much as you, there is a farang making a six figure income in US$ terms with almost no overhead and now is extending revenue further above this by farming out other trainers. Who says you can't make western wages in LOS? Or hmm, the other more cynical possibility is pretty obvious.
